We retired and now live full time here on Duck Cove, so our cottage is not available.

Nestled in a picturesque spot on the shore of Duck Cove in Tremont, Sunset View Oceanfront cottage provides an opportunity for respite and relaxation. Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and the beauty of Acadia National Park, this four-season Mt. Desert Island cottage provides a convenient home base on the Island's "Quiet Side" to stop and explore all that is offered in the area. Use the steps to the shore to examine the tidal pools at low tide and for water access at high tide. With three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely screened porch, this cottage is perfect for up to six people.

All rooms are spacious and open with ever changing views of the cove and, in the evening, of beautiful sunsets. Games, puzzles, cards, a tv, a cd/radio and a gas grill are also provided for your enjoyment. Bass Harbor Head Light, Wonderland, Seawall and Ship's Harbor are around the corner, the shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor are about 10 minutes, and Bar Harbor is less than 20 miles. Sunset View is perfect for your next visit to the Island!
